Our Mission

Our Mission

Philanthropy is defined as the love for mankind that yields benevolent acts to others. People practice philanthropy since the antiquity. It is an important part of community-building as we focus on eliminating social problems. Some use this out of altruistic reasons and for the common good. There are others who want to gain influence and power and see this as a viable way to gain favor. Either way, philanthropy has helped countless people and communities through the years.

Not everyone has the means to avail basic facilities people normally enjoy, and the government cannot reach every single person to help. There are instances where endeavors are unpopular or controversial for the government or the public at that time. The HIV/AIDS epidemic might have never been as understood as today if not for the funds donated to research on the disease. Millions of people around the world may not have be freed from illiteracy if not for the schools and libraries built in their respective communities.

Our organization, as led by Charles Gladfelter, believes that philanthropic contributions can serve as a catalyst for the betterment of our society. Many foundations and donors focus on national and global issues but our organization goes local in terms of philanthropic work. Philanthropy is more than just giving away our money, it is also having the faith that something will change by what we did. Your help will be able to send a child to school or grant him access to sanitary water and medical facilities for life.

We provide opportunities and freely support people and local projects we choose. Charles Gladfelter sees the idea of philanthropy as navigating the landscape of the local community and knowing their needs. Should you choose to help us, we personally invite you to witness our planning and outreach activities.

Yet, what does philanthropy give to you?

Philanthropy is the spirit of goodwill towards others in the hopes of making their lives better. Today, this has become a universally accepted concept that almost everyone gives and many institutions are dependent on it. You can help us to continue our cause by donation or lending your expertise to us. We want to create an impact to local communities as they need the help first-hand.

Studies have shown that active participation in philanthropic and charitable activities are linked to better mental health. The act of giving gives us happiness and satisfaction especially when we do something for a cause and see its effects. You can also practice philanthropy as a part of your business’ corporate social responsibility. Tax savings aside, we think it is a moral obligation to give something back to the community.

Practicing philanthropy enhances empathy and this resonates more of our need to connect to local communities. For businesses, it means more potential customers coming and better customer loyalty. This also creates a positive brand image and presents an opportunity for you to help more. Given the power of social media today, people knowing your philanthropic deeds has never been this easier. We want to create change in local communities. Help us today.
